What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security process in which the user provides two different authentication factors to verify themselves to better protect the credentials and the resources accessed once logged in. This provides a second layer of protection to your account. Even if someone knows your password, they won't be able to access your account without also having access to your phone.

We have two types of Two-factor authentication as this feature is compulsory.

SMS

Once you register to Wealth99 and verify your mobile number, your 2FA will be automatically enabled through SMS. This means that every time you log in to Wealth99, we'll send you a 6-digit code via SMS that you'll be required to enter in order to proceed. The 2FA 6-digit code is also required for completing other secured tasks, like withdrawing.

Google Authenticator App

You can also enable the Google Authentication App to provide you with the 6-digit code. The difference is that it'll be provided through the Google Authentication App instead of the SMS. We highly recommend using the Google Authenticator option as it offers you the best protection.

Keep track of the access: As an added security measure, you’ll get an email each time you sign into the Wealth99 Platform, just so you can keep track of when your account is being accessed.
