To manage your account details, navigate to the ‘Account’ section in the left menu of your FinPro Dashboard. Here, you can update your security settings and account details. We highly recommend setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) immediately upon creating your account.
Changing account preferences and password
By accessing the "Account" section, you can easily change your password and preferred name. Simply select the field you wish to modify and confirm the action.
* Note that the 2FA must be activated to change your password.
Security settings
Security stands as a top priority for Financial Professionals. To add another layer of security to your account, we strongly recommend keeping the 2FA activated via Google Authenticator at all times and adding an Anti-Phishing Phrase.
Activate 2FA
1. On the 'Security' tab, enable the 2FA.
2. Write down the backup code by hand and store it somewhere safe - note that you won’t be able to see this information later. Also, note that you will not be able to copy and paste. This is to ensure that you have stored it.
3. Once the backup code has been written down, click “The backup code is safe” to proceed.
4. Type in the backup code and click "Confirm".
5. Download the Google Authenticator app and follow these instructions to set up 2FA:
1. Download the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
2. Open the app, then scan the QR code.
3. Enter the six-digit code from the Google Authenticator app to complete the setup process.
Add Anti-Phishing Phrase
An Anti-Phishing Phrase is a unique phrase you set in your account settings that will be included in all emails from Wealth99, helping you verify their authenticity.
1. Navigate to the 'Security' tab.
2. Select 'New Phrase', enter your desired phrase, and click 'Next'.
3. Enter your account password and click 'Save' to confirm.
4. All set! Going forward, our communications will include the unique phrase you registered.
