How to deactivate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) | Logged out

In order for you to deactivate the Google Authenticator 2FA of your Wealth99 account, you will need to submit a request to our support team requesting the deactivation and informing the Recovery code that you had to write down and keep safe when you first activated the 2FA.

I don't have the Recovery Code, how can the 2FA be disabled?

If you no longer have the recovery code, please submit a request to our support team requesting the deactivation without the recovery code.

Our team will provide you with a link to complete a selfie check. The selfie check is divided into 2 steps in the following order:

  • ID: First, you'll be asked to take a picture of your ID (passport, driver's license, or National ID card).
  • Selfie: After the ID picture has been taken, you'll be required to perform a live selfie verification using the camera of your device. You'll be asked to look forward and then to look at each side. Check here for further instructions on how to perform the selfie verification.

This way we'll be able to confirm your identity and securely deactivate your 2 Factor Authentication so you log in again!

Until the 2FA has been activated again, you’ll need to insert a code received as an SMS when logging in. Remember to remove the account on your Google Authenticator App. If you decide to activate 2FA again, the Google Authenticator App will not use the same code as it did previously.
