How to Deactivate Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) protects your account, but you may occasionally need to deactivate or reset it to connect a new device.

I can still use my Google Authenticator codes to log in

If you still have access to your Google Authenticator application, you can turn off 2FA instantly.

  1. Log in to your Wealth99 account.
  2. Go to the left-hand menu and click on Settings.
  3. Select the Security tab at the top of the page.
  4. Locate Primary Two Factor: Google Authenticator and switch the toggle to off.
  5. Enter the current 6-digit code from your Google Authenticator app to confirm.

I am logged out and cannot use my Google Authenticator codes to sign in.

If you cannot log in because you lost access to your 2FA device or app, we can help disable 2FA.

If you have your Recovery/Backup Code:

Submit a support request here, asking to deactivate 2FA and include the Recovery/Backup Code you saved during setup.

If you do not have your Recovery Code:

Submit a support request here, asking to disable 2FA without a recovery code.

Our team will send you a secure link for a digital identity check. You will be asked to upload a photo of your original ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card) and complete a live selfie by looking forward and then turning your head to each side.

Important Security Reminder: Once 2FA is disabled, always remove the old profile from your Google Authenticator app. If you reactivate 2FA later, your app will generate a completely new profile and code.
